Start your children on the pathway to loving the mountains with the Taos Ski Valley Childcare. Located in the newly renovated Rio Hondo Learning Center, childcare is available for children as young as six weeks old and up to three years old. Sign them up for either a half day morning session or for the entire day. Either way, while you are out enjoying the mountain, you can be confident that your child is having fun, being active, and being encouraged to love being in the mountains.
We have a check in window from 8:00 - 9:30am. When you drop your child off we review any needs your child may have. We will also have you fill out a quick form when you arrive that will have your information on it. This includes (phone number, date of birth, feeding and sleeping schedule and any other specific needs). Please provide: diapers, wipes, creams and ointments, formula/milk, baby food, snacks, blankets, special toy and a change of clothes, light sweater. Children will have a full day of activities, creative and physical. We provide snacks, lunch and naps that are tailored to the unique needs of each infant and toddler. We also ensure that toileting needs are met. please provide diapers and wipes. At parent arrival, we relay the days events to each parent and describe their child's emotional/physical state. $50 Mini 1 hour. Your child will be introduced to skis and snow in a small group situation.

Explore - Create - Educate
Opening December 21st, parents can sign their kids (ages 3 months to 14 years) up for Taos Bound, a fun and educational après ski for kids, that allows parents to venture off on their own for a few hours and explore the Ski Valley. Running from 4:30 PM to 8 PM, activities include climbing wall, slacklining, games, cultural arts & crafts, games, presentations, movies and much more. Dinner is included.

Balancing Zone: Fun, adaptable and interactive. The skills used and developed in the balancing area are directly related to Snowsports and mountain recreation. Stationary equipement includes slacklines of progressive height and length. Mobile equipement includes various balance boards, balance beam/bridges sets and big foam blocks/shapes.
Cultural Zone: Activites include pottery painting, dreamcatcher making, drum making, jewelry, etc. The activities will be unique to the area and have meaning and educational piece attached to the activity. The area will be available throughout the evening.
Hang Out Zone: A quiet area with table, comfortable chairs and couches. Indoor games available such as chess, checkers, backgammon, books, etc.
Presentation Zone: A multi-purpose open space for presentations and movies. Auditorium style seating with chairs and bean bags.
Game Zone: Area for active indoor games like foosball, shuffle board and Basketball Shootout.
Outdoor Zone: Various outdoor activities such as snowshoeing and stargazing.
The Taos Bound program will include child care in the Child Care Room. Baby Care from 6 weeks to 3 years of age. Various activities include Circle time, yoga and art.
