High Mountain Hideout at The Bavarian Date TBA
A music and art festival in Taos Ski Valley. Glad Castle presents three days of music, art, and camping in the serene high alpine setting of Kachina Basin. The High Mountain Hideout offers a unique, intimate and dynamic music festival experience at 10,200 feet above sea level, at the Bavarian Restaurant and Lodge. Over 30 regional and local music acts including Eurforquestra, D Numbers, Reviva, Mondo Vibrations, Squash Blossom Boys, Zenova, and Rand Larzeny will be featured.Festival goers can also look forward to live painting, art installations, yoga, crafts, hiking, mountain bike riding, campfires and acoustic sets at William’s lake.Pre Sale tickets being sold at The Bavarian Lodge and The Coffee Spot. $1 SHUTTLE UP MOUNTAIN FROM TSV PARKING @ THUNDERBIRD ROAD
TSV, Inc will provide shuttle service from the guest parking lot warming hut near Thunderbird Rd up to the festival and back. The following schedule is for Saturday and Sunday only. No open food or alcohol allowed on the shuttle.
- All rides will cost $1 payable in cash only
- Overnight parking should park at the Gila, Eagle & Deer Parking lots and will get picked up at the Information booth to go up to the festival area
- Day only parking should park at the Coyote lot and take the shuttle from the Command Center
- Shuttle drop off will take place the HMH registration table
Depart Warming Hut: 10am, 11:30am, 1:pm, 2:30pm, 4pm, 5:30pm and 7pm
Depart Festival: 10:45am, 12:15pm, 1:45pm, 3:15pm, 4:45pm, 6:15pm, 7:45pm
Oktoberfest at The Bavarian Restaurant Date TBA
FREE and fun for all ages. Authentic Schupplater band and dancers, german beer and food, activities for kids, brat eating contest, yodeling contest, elk horn blowing contests and so much more.
Festival Times: 11am to 5pm (weather permitting)
Die Polka-schlingel Band: 12pm - 4pm
