Hot Air Ballooning

Ride a Hot Air Balloon over and into the Gorge.

Gently gliding on the soft desert winds into the Gorge in the basket of a colorful hot air balloon, with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains as a backdrop, this is the premier hot air balloon flight of the state of New Mexico.  From snow covered mountains in the Winter, baby coyotes and deer in the Spring, blossoming flowers, bushes and cacti in Summer to colorful Fall foliage -- there is ALWAYS majestic beauty everywhere!  Your adventure begins bright and early on the day of your flight when someone from Pueblo Balloon Company picks you up at your Taos area Hotel / B & B . . .

"Normally we do not take time to write reviews or critiques, and often we forget to thank those  who enrich our lives with unforgettable experiences. However, in this case we are Balloons Over the Gorgegoing to make an exception!!
What a wonderful time we had with the Pueblo Ballon Company on June 8, 2009. Words alone cannot express the flight and the fabulous people we encountered along the way. The charming and cooperative Dana at Hamption; the lively, informative Lisa; the brillantly competent crew chief Dave; and of course "The Muscle" two degrees and  we hope he keeps on chasing. We would be remiss not to mention the superb pilot Ed who calmed the fears and answered the multitude of questions in an exemplary manner.
We cannot describe the flight, it was truly beyond our expectations and should be experienced by everyone, but we can describe the brunch. Doc Martins was a beautiful setting  with great food. The conversation was intelligent, enlivening ,and most enjoyable. We spent the remainder of our vacation singing your prasies and hope you continue in providing this wonderful service.
Wishing you gentle breezes and marshmallow landings."
