Hot Springs Day Trip - Ojo Caliente

Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs has been a gathering place and a source of healing for hundreds, even thousands of years. Come retreat to our secluded refuge. Relax with a massage and Rejuvenate in our legendary waters.

Every Tuesday is Ojo Day. These excursions are designed so you can still get a morning in of skiing and be back in time for an evening meal with the family. Starting December the 15th 2009 shuttles will leave from the Taos Ski Valley Guard at 1pm. Your shuttle service, Taos Shuttle, will take you in comfort on a 1 hour scenic drive to the Ojo Caliente mineral hot springs. On the way your driver will show you the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, one of the highest bridges in the country and spectacular mesa views. Bring a robe and pool shoes or alternatively upon arrival at the pools you will have the opportunity to rent a robe and lock for the locker rooms. The shuttle returns to the Valley at 6pm so you will have 4 hours to take in the wonders of Ojo. If you choose to take the full Ojo Experience package massages are scheduled at 3pm and 4pm. Soaking will give you an appetite so the Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Enjoy a meal or a wonderful glass of wine before your return.

Treat yourself to an invigorating body rub of ancient sea bed salts, cornmeal & massage oil with aromatic hot towels. This wonderful circulation enhancing treatment leaves your skin feeling soft & renewed.   

SUNDÃRI Custom Face Treatment
A relaxing & soothing face treatment for all skin types using a combination of gentle, dosha specific cleansers & essential oils to sweep away surface dead skin cells & toxins. A bamboo & date exfoliant is used to brighten the complexion. To replenish & nourish the skin, a relaxing face & neck massage using gotu kola & lotus oil is used, followed by a rose & lavender hydrating mask to slow the breakdown of collagen. Finally an eye treatment with chamomile oil, neem eye cream & dosha specific moisturizer – leaving the skin radiant & protected.
